Bulldog Unlimited Lite

Don't know how long this offer has been around for but it's certainly not publicised.
I spotted Bulldog advertising their new 16Mb service, so checked availability for my number.
As expected I was told that my line can only handle 2Mb, but was then offered "Bulldog Unlimited Lite" for £9.75/month.
It's simply a 2Mb maximum service with no download or usage limits and a 12 month contract. So, with £9.75 for the broadband and £10.50 for the basic phone package, that makes it £20.25/month.
For people like me whose line is too far from the exchange for the top speeds, and who only use their mobile to make calls, this certainly seems an excellent alternative to Talk Talk. At least it's a shorter contract, and hopefully a much swifter turnaround on setup.
