Quidco cashback and Orange 5 tariff

Main reason for asking was that at the end of the transaction online I ended up with a message saying "call this number..." which I did and went through the details, my order was processed and I ended up with a new order number - wasn't sure what this would mean for my Quidco cashback. There was no reason (credit check etc) for the application to be referred - nothing extra was asked on the phone. It's supposed to be £50 quidco cashback but is currently tracking on two entries at £30.00 and £0.00 - this may change once it's paid.
I've sold the free phone on ebay for £27 so I'm hoping with the Quidco cashback this gets me 50 minutes and 50 texts for around £2/month - that takes some beating without faffy line rental cashback claims.
Anyone else applied for Orange 5 with Orange through Quidco?0 -
Seems quite a good deal if you can live with 50 min and texts a month for 3 years.0

I think it's a fantastic tariff for low users!
£5/month line rental (once VAT returns to 17.5%)
£50 cashback on quidco
£25 ebay phone value now on free phone (actually got £27)
guess £25 ebay value on free upgrade in 18 months
Total of £180 line rental over the 36 month contract
Total of £100 cashback through quidco/ebay
Actual total cost £2.22 per month for 50 texts and 50 minutes!!
Previously I've been a PAYG customer with around £40-£50 annual spend. Now free voicemail is evaporating from all PAYG deals (I don't have a 3G handset so 3 isn't an option) and per minute costs for us low users are heading towards the 20p mark this deal looks great for me. It was between this and Asda mobile, this is likely to be cheaper.0
