Last thread from a confused web site owner

I can't seem to get through to anyone that I am NOT questionning whether or not I can post links to my site... I fully understand that there are rules in place to prevent this and agree with these rules totally.

What I am questionning is whether or not OTHER people who have nothing at all do do with me can link the my site...

If you suspect everyone who recommends my site to actually be me in disguise then fine... but then surely this forum can NOT be impartial if you are going to pick and choose who you mistrust!!!

Again I simply want to state that you are either impartial and therefore will allow people to recommend sites they have found useful to others - which is the whole point of this forum - OR you are censoring free speech!!!

I would appreciate it if could answer my actual question rather than simply keeping referring me to the rules re spamming which I already understand fully and agree with!!!!!

Wouldn't that be a better idea than starting another thread?

I have seen this and I will also post my thoughts to the boardguide as well but as this is a free discussion forum I wanted to get views of other users here out in the open too.

It's not a matter for the boardguide. The decisions are made by Martin and the Forum Team. If you have a problem with anything at all contact abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

This is actually not a forum for free speech, it's a private forum with rules put in place by the owner to keep it in line with the way he believes it should be run.

To answer your question, links to white label websites are removed as a matter of course. It's unfortunate that it has come to this, but the forum was getting far too much spam and the only solution was to come to this decision.

Please don't contact board guides over this matter - It is not for them to defend the policy of the MSE team. If you have a problem with the rules of the site, contact abuse@moneysavingexpert.com as you have been told in each one of these threads.

Thanks for this further clarification and I have indeed posted my issues to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com just now and I will await their thoughts on this matter.
