Can anyone please offer me any advice regarding mobiles

Ive currently got a virgin sim with 300 texts and min for ten pounds a month
The mins are plenty but the texts arent
I have a good credit rating
Ive just got a plain mobile simple for me to use. No picture messaging etc and I dont really need it
I guess im needing more texts per month
I also have to keep my number, I cannot loose it
What would be my best option with just really needing the texts.
Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!

You don't say if you are out of contract. If you are, just switch to another Virgin tarriff that suits your needs better, or if you prefer, switch to another network and port your number over.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Sounds like you're on the Virgin Media £10 SIMO deal. This is no longer offered as a tariff, so if you do change you won't be able to get it back. The next plan up for you would be the £15 300 mins, unlimited texts and I'm pretty sure you'll get at least 200 Virgin minutes too. Give them a call on 789 from your mobile to see whta they can offer you.

I'm on the same ten pound a month deal 300mins/300texts. Last Saturday I received a text from 789 offering me the chance to change it to £15 a month for unlimited texts, 400 mins, plus an extra 200 mins to any virgin mobile number. I'm still thinking about it but you have to ring 08000520474, if you ring, tell them you got a text, p.s. they charge your mobile for the call so ring from landline. Hope this helps..Andy
