I am moving for 3 months and want a broardband connection. I have checked and BB is axvailable at my new address however I cannot find anyone who will supply for just 3 months without a penalty. Most suppliers demand a 12 or 18 month contract.
Any ideas?

Virgin are no contract but you do still have to give 30 days notice. The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0

However, since last year they added a clause to the T&C's for new customers that leave within 12 months to pay £50 to cancel (covers the BTw ADSL activation charge).KathrynPenguin wrote:Virgin are no contract but you do still have to give 30 days notice.0 -
Plusnet - They have a monthly contract but you have to pay around £60 to activate the line in the first place.
I have it at the moment and the service is ok. THey have bizarre usage limits though
They also do a referral scheme but you'll need to put thaton the referral board. I'm leaving plusnet next month as we're moving so it'd be better to find a different plusnet person to refer you if interested

Hi
Nidram,f2s,ukfsn all 1mth contract, but they will all charge you to activate your line.
If I were you I would email the isp that you choose and ask, about their terms and conditions.
Hope this helps0 -
Is there a reason why the post suggesting was removed given that it answers the posters question and it's cheaper than the other alternatives suggested?0

It would have been removed because you have a link to it and it is classed as advertising. There is no advertising on this site, and in return, we as members are also not allowed to advertise.
Quote from the rules............
ADVERTISING
This site is free from advertising. Posts on any board considered to be advertising goods, services and/or companies will be removed.
Examples of this can include anything from a specific sales post or a link to your own website in which you attempt to sell something to someone offering their holiday home to forum members. Unfortunately we cannot allow any advertising of any description no matter how honourable the intention. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
