NTL not taking money from my Current Account

Hi there,
I have been with NTL since last april. NTL usually debit my current account on the 27th on every month.
Last month I switched my bank to "Bank A", and let their switching team handle all my existing DD swap over to "Bank A". Everything seems work out fine.
Two weeks ago I rang NTL to negotiate a better deal. And I managed to get a price reduction from 24.99 -> 15.99, no complain here
When on the phone to NTL, they also asked how I opt to pay and from which bank, I duely answered all these questions (DD from "Bank A").
Now I check my bank statement online today, it seems that NTL has not debited my account, and I dig out the last bill I received from them dated 9/4 /06, there is no mention of direct debit on it.
Just wondered has anyone has any problem like this before when they changed they bank?

BTW, should I ring up NTL and ask why they havent taken my money or keep my mouth shut for a while?
