How is it the "Fault" of the residents?
Because it's usually as a result of complaints by residents that these are installed and they can be uninstalled if there are sufficient complaints,I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

or the fact that the residents are scummy, cant teach thier kids the green cross code and loads of them get knocked down and then they blame the drivers because thier kids run out in front of cars.
if anyones ever passing take a drive down royston road in glasgow, you will see what i mean. its not a place you want to be driving slowly!...work permit granted!0 -

Bulbs and light adjustment are the easiest things to fail something on. Even if they are fully functioning.
If the MOT p[lace passed every car then VOSA would be on their back. where as if they fail the odd one or two then it keeps them happy...
sorry Harvey I do not normally disagree with you but you are 100% wrong on this pointIMOJACAR

Hi,
This probably is the second time I am putting up a post but I thought I would let people know of the rip off at Nationwide Autocentre in Acocks Green(Birmingham) today.
I had booked a Toyota at this centre and the quoted price was £40 online and at the test centre it was £39 and as soon as I said I would use tesco vouchers I was told that the offer would not apply and the price was quoted as £54.95, I had no option but to go ahead. I got a call that there were minor faults and the MOT had failed and they had to fix up a few things(I keep this car in good condition and I had recetly changed the brake pads, disc and the tyres) and the charges were as follows,
Headlamp Align £12.99
Nearside and Offside wiperblade not clearing screen: £7.99+£7.99
fog light bulb and brake light bulb £4.95+£4.95
and the total including VAT was £53.72+£40(tesco vouchers).
For some reason every time I go here the problems are the same wiper blades etc.
Looks like I was probably better off going elsewhere without using the tesco vouchers.0 -

the dashboard adjuster is to compeensate for the car being laden
when at 0 the lights should be correctly adjusted
the others settings should lower the beam to compensate for a lower rear/raised front0 -

So they fixed a few things without your permission? And they called you? Did you leave your car there and went home? Whenever I'm in for an MOT I always sit and wait in the viewing area.0 -
How has this thread (last post 9 months ago) suddenly become another gripe at National Autocenteres? How did you have "No Option" but to use them?0
