Have you tried the live help chat thing?

I think 90% of ebay staff are complete morons, but occasionally you do get someone who actually has a brain, and will sort things out for you.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Yes, I tried that and got told 'as it's been done by the trust and saftey dept, I can't help you'.

Any other time I wouldn't care,. I can wait a week to list stuff without a problem! But it's really annoying that this is the Free Listing Promo - and I could have saved about £30 in fees.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(
  • Well, my week is nearly up, my restriction stands, and I have had enough automated replies from Ebay to paper a room with. They are apparently unable to read, since none of the automated replies has actually addressed the questions I've asked. This has been the most frustrating experience ever, and I've resorted to writing (and then deleteing) long emails full of insults to make myself feel better.

  • I have a wallet full of these things too for doing on-line surveys. A while ago, the survey company asked me to return them as a load of fakes had been found to be in circulation, so I did and they replaced them with new ones with a new decor. Great and thanks for being proactive. Then I tried to spend them in a shop and was told they couldn't accept them as they were probably fakes!
