I am absolutely FUMING. I listed 2 £1 High Street Vouchers on ebay, i'd been carrying them in my purse for yonks and thought 'Oh well, I might get a pound for them'. Today I got a message saying the listing has been removed as the trademark owner suspects they're fakes!
What kind of IDIOT would bother to forge £2????

I have sent the man in question a rather angry email and one to Ebay as well - becuase WAIT FOR IT - they have restricted my account for seven days so I can't sell! Well isn't that bl**dy convenient just wehn they have free listings!

It's two quid! Two quid! the world's gone mad. The trademark owners (Park Group LTd) have a dodgy phone number as well. Just as well for them cos i was a bit cross.

I'm on to Ebay live help now trying to get them to see sense.

You only had to look at the picture to see how dog eared they are - and theyre for TWO QUID!

The value doesn't make a difference - they have to treat all listings with the same rules and most likely it will be automated. Cyberbob is right - someone has reported you, be mad at them NOT eBay.

Yeah, it does seem pretty extreme so I can see why you're annoyed. Like goggle said though, how come you didn't just spend them? Seems like a lot of trouble for £2.

it's not the sale of the vouchers I'm peeved about - it's the fact that I'm going to miss out on the next 7 days free listing and I have shedloads of stuff I was going to list.

UPDATE:

So here we are three days later. The trademark owner has emailed me to agree that my vouchers aren't fakes. I have emailed back and forth with Ebay for three days and got absoluitely nowhere. Todays email was the most patronising pile of *** I've ever received in my life, along the lines of 'you must play by the rules, you must check your listings carefully, you must not be naughty'.
As I was in the right all along , HAD checked, WASN'T being naughty, this just serves to infuriate me even further.
They still refuse to lift the listing restriction from my account. So this free listing promo is down the tubes for me.
It's just as well they don't advertise a phone number because by now I would have got myself into real trouble

Thanks, I called that number. I got told off lol, as it's an 'invitation only' helpline pmsl.

Anyway, I got someone who basically told me to email again, and said she 'completely understood my frustrations, and could see how awful it all was, and would put a note on my account'.
