    In a word -no!

He's not up to the job - he has only got it through nepotism, no talent /ability. He needs to grow up (maybe this'll help him) and you wonder whether Barbie'll stick around - but that's his problem. It certainly isn't yours or any of the others who work there and spent weeks thinking they were out of work.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hugs Sal. It must be the day for the green eyed monster today.

I've been sat watching daytime property programmes, feeling really sad that we wont ever be able to afford anything better than we're in, purely because of bloody stupid spending over the years leaving us in hooooge debt.

    Exactly our thoughts.

hubby got a long overdue call from this idiot's Dad last night to apologise for everything that's gone on.
They should have done that face to face with the employees 2 weeks ago as far as we're concerned rather than leaving it to one of the senior guys (but not a director) to break bits of bad news to various employees and to tell the guy who owns another company that they were planning to buy out and had already given notice to his landlord to move out that this buyout would now not be going ahead :mad::mad:

What I find most annoying is that we used to have a lovely house, sold it to pay debts and still went back to spend more. If this site had been around then I would have known not to sell but to pay it off, agree with creditors. Guess there is no point dwelling on the past :(

Maz hun, jealous of my house?! God bless you, it's a home but not nearly as nice as the other house we used to have...oops, that sounds horrible, what I mean is I love my house but it's not big nor fancy but it suits us (well, I'll be happier once the kitchen is finished but I looooove my garden now!)

I hear you all about being jealous, I feel the same sometimes especially when I have friends going on fancy holidays or buying new clothes all the time but bottom line is with kids, they are most happy with parents that love them and that is all. I know for FACT that you guys are amazing parents.

    I have a headache...

your house is lovely! i bet it's even nicer now.... i can't wait for october...

i am not an amazing parent...

i am hoping desperately that someone will whisk erin away for 3 hours tonight so i can go watch Celtic Arsenal with golferman... i am a bad mummy....

it's not gonna happen anyway but i am bad for wishing it!

edit - sorry you have a headache

My house is OK, plenty big enough for the 4 of us - I would like to live by the sea someday though.

The trouble is that it needs certain urgent repairs doing that we simply cant afford to have someone in to do, and dont have the knowledge to do ourselves. I worry long term that we'll have serious issues here, and not be able to do anything about it :o

  • :grouphug: who really wants to move house on a day like today when it's chucking it down and freezing cold. Time for chocolate and a cheeky afternoon drink...
