Is it possible to terminate O2 iPhone contract?
Help required please!
Just purchased a new 18 month iPhone contract from O2. I used the phone for about 24 days before it developed a faulty. I took it back to an O2 store and they took it back for repairs. I then rang customer services asking when the phone was going to be fixed and was told that since the phone was still new and the contract was it its first 28 days, there store should have just replaced the iPhone with a new on.
Customer services confirmed that the store made a mistake by taking away the phone for repairs. To make matters worse, the store didnt have any loan phone to provide me with so that I could continue to use while I was waiting for the Iphone to be fixed.
What they agreed was to credit my account with £20 to cover for the loss of mobile usage. I had to go to a different store to arrange a loan phone. to-date 9 days later, the Iphone is not yet back.
Are there any grounds I can use to terminate this contract with O2?
Any advice provided is welcome.
Thanks

Not a hope. That isn't grounds to end, check your contact and T&C's.0

Area managers can authorise it but your case isn't strong enough to warrant it. Yes the wrong process has been followed, but you have been compensated for that. Also it isn't O2s responsibility to provide you with a loan phone so you cant use that in your argument with them.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

Next time bring it to an Apple Store and get them to look at it (if there is one near you). It'll be much quicker.0
