Pair viewing card to sky box

I have just received a new sky viewing card, is it possible for me to put my old card in my friends box and for it to work on there.

How do i go about pairing my old vieiwng card to a different sky box without calling sky up

Not if you subscribe to channels then no as "your friend" would be getting FREE TV and that is not allowed is it?

As far as I know, you can pair your old card to your friend's box - but you'll have to call sky for this. However, your friend will only receive the freesat channels from sky.

Waste of time, the card will be switched off once your new card is activated, or shortly after.
