Gawd what a nightmare. Gotta agree with what the others say...something else will turn up. And (again as has been mentioned)...if you are scared to answer the phone to them (I probably would be anxious too!) then that says it all really.

Good luck for finding something else - and anyway...well done you for getting the second job in the first place and showing willing.

Oh tina, doesn't sound at all like the type of environment you want to be working in, especially after the events this evening!

You're not still considering going back are you?!

I think even the job centre would consider the risk of actual bodily harm a good reason for quitting a job! That sounds like a nightmare, and for £25 for all those hours, they must be jesting. Try your large supermarket, they are always looking for people to work the weekend nights.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Definately visit your local job centre.

I was claiming income support for over a year and decided that as my daughter had started playgroup, I would get myself a little job. didn`t no where to start, as the hours I wanted wouldn`t be that of the standard 9-5pm.

After 2 weeks of the Job centre (and me) hunting. They found me a job with a local hotel that looked very good. Went for 2 interviews and got it.

Had 5 days training and started back in October.

Work 16 hours a week 3 - 11pm and am loving it. Even got a £250 bonus for coming off income support !

So go to your local jobcentre, I know they get a bad rep. but they really are good !
