CAN YOU get beam benders from large tesco too?

I'm not sure...we had to get our headlights done by Nissan garage as apparently our car needed whole new headlights not just stickers (?? Sounds like garage-con talk to me, but anyway!)

I've seen GB stickers in a few Tesco. In Tesco Extra, they had an extensive section for motoring/travelling, so it's likely they have the beam bender stickers

Try Halfords .... they had them ... they also had a sheet showing what you need for each country .... having been to France numerous times, I thought that everyone needed a high vis jacket & need to be inside the car - NOT in the boot.

You will need hi-vis jacket and a spare lightbulb kit, a first aid kit, warning triangle. As mentioned already these are easily available at Halfords or even on the ferry but more expensive there.
  • The poster who stated you need a high vis vest for each occupant is quite right. And they do have to be in the cabin, not the boot. Law changed at least a couple of years ago.

If you forget anything, you'll be able to get it at the ferry terminal shop (assuming you're sailing)

You don't need GB plates if your number plates incorporate the GB logo ( blue ).
