Hello
Moving house soon due to split up.
Currently using Sky for homephone calls/line rental/tv and broadband.
Anyone know what the cheapest provider is for RELIABLE broadband and combined phone and line rental. Not sure if BT are any good for broadband?
I dont want to go with AOL though.
Thanks x

Will totally depend on what broadband and phone package you want (eg unlimited, evening and weekend only), and what your LLU options are. Have a look on samknows.com to check the options on your exchange. Bundling phone and broadband is not always the cheapest way.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi would be evenings and weekends calls only - based in northwales.0

What does samknows say?
Can't advise you without knowing the exchange or postcode-North Wales does not help I'm afraid.
What broadband are you looking for-capped or unlimited download? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi again, sorry for being a bit vague! The postcode is LL12 7SL and I download very little so capped would be fine. Havent had a chance to look on the website you mentioned but will try and have a look later.0

LLU options on the right hand column, but basically only TalkTalk or Orange. Best of a meagre choice would be TT with the Essentials bundle at £17.74 for line rental, E&W calls, and broadband. (£29.99 conection fee).
Or, since Wrexham is a Market 3 exchange, look at Plusnet. You should get 'Value' broadband for £5.99 and either use BT E&W Plan for line rental and calls, or you could take line rental and calls with Plusnet (bit more expensive I think). Plusnet do traffic shape in peak hours, but if you're not a heavy user this may not be a factor. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Sky broadband is pants.
Go for a BT line - free evening & weekend calls (£11.25) and 02 broadband - £10 a month - reliable internet provider with free customer service help and online log-in to help you if needed0 -

How is the OP going to get O2 broadband for £12 a month on a non-LLU O2 exchange? The O2 Access package is £22.02 pm, or £17.13 with the O2 mobile discount. And it's not a good service (unlike O2 on LLU).No free lunch, and no free laptop

Talktalk is pretty good if you just want free evening and weekend calls, but as previous posters have said it all depends if it's LLU or not. I've found some good bundle options here:http://www.top10-broadband.co.uk/compare/bundles - worth having a look :-)0

I ordered a whole package yesterday with virgin media thats the line rental, the phone, broadband and tv package all for £25 and no connection fee or anything all done free, may be worth a look?0
