Vodafone customer services !!!!!!!!!

I sent a registered letter on the 8th July and still no reply so thought I would give them a call (08700 776655), after 15 minutes of waiting I got to speak to someone. He then spent 10 minutes putting me on hold so he could check things out, eventually he came back to me and gave me another number 0163533251. Another 15 minute wait before some bolshy individual told me that they could not help because iam on payg and told me I must phone the 08700 number.

What kind of people do they employ, left hand/right hand dont know what they are doing, you are passed from pillar to post, they cant transfer your call, they cant arrange a call back and best of all they dont have supervisors available to talk to you, what a company    Rant over!

I have also noticed that the Vodafone rep is keeping his/her head low, there have been several postings about vodafone, they have been online but chosen to answer selected threads

Why are you trying to contact them?
I normally (when I had contracts with them) have managed to get through to them on 191 from my contract mobile or email (and they usually reply or call back sometimes).

Maybe it's because of the way they are treated by those employees.

Because my initial complaint was about a member of customer services, what they said and how they treat me!

I think after several phone calls to customer services, e-mails to the complaints department, a visit to the local store who could not help but once given all the details agreed that I had a reason to be agrieved.

These were his words after he tried to get some joy from the head office,

''put everything in writing and send it to this address, register it as they have a bad habit of either losing things or saying that they have not recieved it''
The letter was registered and delivered to them on the 9th July,

So i'am not getting off on insulting them, it just seems that once you get through to somebody they cannot help and its always another department/person who is dealing with it.

sporedude, I take it from your response that you probably work for a phone company, at the company I work for, on receiving a complaint you must deal with it and reply to the complainant with a progress report within 2 days and an outcome within 7 working days, that sounds fair.

Vodafone have had 2 month ;)

    Hi kasey128,

Sorry it's taken a while for us to get to thread but now that we're here I'm sure we can help you to get things sorted out.

It's disappointing to hear that you haven't received a reply to your letter but if you could email us your details together with a copy of your letter using the 'Contact us' form on our website here we'll be happy to take a closer look at this for you.

When sending the email could you also include a link to this thread within the body of it and state the code WRT135 in the subject line.

    Thanks,

    Lee
