i've had my imp for a fair few weeks now - and i'm quite impressed. I've resisted the temptation to give an immediate review, because there were a few thinks that prevented me from recommending it, which have just been ironed out with a software update.

The device itself it tiny, works via remote control only [i'm trying to get the IR map so i can use a one4all] supports all the bbc on demand streams - you can see the station list here - you can also add your own streams, as when the radio logs on it picks up your serial number, and you can get your personalised favourites in a folder on the radio....clever eh?

the industry is in its infancy, and i can say that i'm sure the prices will come down over time, but for 100 quid i've got a bedside radio that plays everything i was after. it also picks up my music files from my PC and streams them - a nice bonus.

if anyone has any specific questions i can try and help! :)

  • I've just ordered a Pinnacle Soundbridge HomeMusic WiFi Media Player, it will play music from the internet without the PC being switched on, and you can preset up to 15 stations. Any good?
