Not until after the "post by" date has gone they don't. Which, as it's first class usually means we get the email after the item. :rotfl:harveybobbles wrote: »I always do my postage thru Paypal, so the buyer gets an automatic email to say it's been posted .This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I don't think you will be able to claim from RM. From what you say you have a Paypal postage receipt and not a proof of posting that they would require.0

I think the paypal postage mention was from someone else, but you are correct of course that if a seller only has paypal postage and no COPs then a claim can't be made.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you claim from Royal Mail, send them the original CoP.
They turned down a claim of mine when I sent them a copy.
Mind you, they sent the six first class stamps, and also refunded the loss when I complained, but life is too short, even for a moneysaver.0
