This malicious Active X entry in your log needs removing.

these are file sharing ports, and if zonealarm is blocking them, you are safe. If you are on broadband, a £40 router is a good investment, as that will block them before they get to zonealarm. These ports are often scanned by people with nothing better to do, than try and get at your data.
if you want to double check that the firewall is working, go here:

then click proceed, all service ports, if everything is green, you are ok.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

newboy ... as albertross says you should be safe if those are being blocked.
If you don't want to keep seeing continual pop ups from Zone Alarm you can configure it to work in the background and not keep popping up.
In ZA "Alerts & logs" you should see something like this ...
Feel free to configure the "Alert events shown" preferences to your wishes.0 -

Hi Again
I am sure you thought that would be the end of me....but NO!!
Since this all finished, I apparently got a virus to my net-bios, which corrupted my hard drive (C). I have had the virus removed, and my hard drive wiped, and so am now as virus free as I can be.
My question, especially aimed at Albertross, alfonso and of course pchelpman, is;
I had a program, running on my pc, along the lines of Limewire (I am sure it belonged to the Gnutella network) it was a p2p fileshare, from which I downloaded my music, etc. I had a shortcut to my desktop also. I sigend up as a lifetime member, but for the life of me, can't remember what the name of the site was!!
Is there anyway, through the logs that I have posted, of finding out what the name of the site is??
Would be very grateful of any help. I have scoured the internet, to see if there is anyhing that jogs my memory and have even e-mailed Gnutella twice, but have had no response.
Thanks
