Question about mobiles.co.uk

Hi :)

I didn't want to post on the other thread, felt like I would have been intruding :o

I have just, this afternoon, ordered a new contract phone (with O2) and I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for an email confirmation to say all is okay (re credit checks etc....) and the phone is on it's way. It does state on the website that orders received before 5.00pm are despatched the next day (I ordered at approx. 4.30pm).

I've had an email confirming receipt of my order but nothing since.

I'd just like to know if I've been accepted for the contract or not and how long it might take for them to let me know :)

    Sorry Scarlet my fault I think :o
    Ours cam the following day but would need to check what the email situation was will let you know later.
    I never complained about the speed of the order as that was quite good ....it was only after getting it that it went downhill ;)

    We had a confirmation of the order at 18.50
    We had a confirmation of sent to warehouse at 19.28
    We had a email regarding porting at 19.28
    And that was all we had untill the phone came ;)
    We were already a longstanding O2 customer so maybe no need for credit checks ????

    Quite speedy then really? I've heard nothing since the "we have received your order" email which was over 2 hours ago now.......

    Hi,

    Providing everything went through smoothly with the credit and other checks we should have this despatched today (if you chose City Link, who collect up to 8pm)

    If you log into the Order Tracking on the site and it says "Awaiting Despatch" or "Despatched" it should be there tomorrow.

    What's your order number? I should be able to have a look.

    If you log into the Order Tracking on the site and it says "Awaiting Despatch" or "Despatched" it should be there tomorrow.

    No worries, thanks for your reply. I bet that's because my Landlord has his mobile with O2 also.

    I've had an email this morning saying O2 have "declined the application" (failed the credit check I assume that means) so my order has now been cancelled :(
