Orange mobile broadband - need help urgently
Comments

Have you given them 30 days notice yet? or just asuming you are cancelled? that text message your talkig about is over 2 weeks old, as far as im aware those changes are not going ahead and nobody has a right to cancel anymore with regards to the price charges, and cancelling direct debits is not going to make Orange go away.0
-
well they only sent me the sms online last week so it cant possibly be 2 weeks old. the price charges have indeed gone ahead, many people are still cancelling contracts because of it.
no it wont make them go away but i do refuse too pay.0 -
OP - you should really get in contact with the orange rep who posted earlier, they are the person most likely to be able to help.
I think the text that you have "just" recieved may have been delayed in coming through to you as no one has been able to cancel their contracts due to the (now non-existent) price changes for about 2 weeks. Have a look at the orange price changes thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1825687 and you will see that the only people who have been able to cancel since about the 12th August are those who orange had agreed to disconnect previously.
One other thing is reall confusing me......you said in your first post that your neighbour must be using your mobile broadband as the usage has doubled, but afaik that is impossible unless you have given her your dongle.0 -
As i have already said it was the person who worked for orange that said the neighbour could use my internet access...........0
-
We have already established that the OP is using around 6GB a month of a 10GB allowance. The problem is that Orange's billing system doesn't recognise her increased allowance and is billing her as though she still had the original 3GB allowance!
The Orange numpty who suggested that a neighbour was hacking her mobile broadband will hopefully soon be sent for 'further training'...No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I will email the orange reprenstative in a bit now.
But it does seem i am paying more than i should and nobody is listening, everyone i speak to at orange so far has no idea what their doing.0 -

I am afraid Jemma that that is entirely a normal state of affairs with Orange...;)No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
