The wedding sounds like a great deal. I would want to organise it all though, that is something I enjoy although I know it would be stressful.

Sounds like you are making some big decisions in terms of the car/uni course etc. Hope it all works out for you.

Thats only the venue and the meal, would still have the rest to organise. It could be done in two months, but it would be tight, and i don't think it would be sensible given every member of his family has commented on how fast things are moving and not to rush a wedding, don't need them all frowning when it should be happy.

Yeah next year sounds like a good option to give you time ot organise it all.

I love how families like to get all involved, if you love someone and want to spend your life with them why should you wait. Unfortunately waiting for financial reasons is something we have to do sometimes.

Mainly waiting for family reasons to be honest, as in I had nightmares about the wedding for a second night running last night. His mother threw chunks of wood and logs at me while I tried to say my vows.

If she did I'd then forcefeed her those chunks of wood and logs.

Ok so I'm officially better at my job than the guy who got the promotion last month. Now I understand why he got it, they had to get it out the way before I got mine but I'm only an assistant, I shouldnt be training an executive how to do basic stuff in a job. It annoys me that this guy is able to do this suff and not get anything said to him by the higher ups.

Right rant over, how is everyone else?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Oh and the jewellers in town said my ring was half way between an I and an I 1/2....

  • Aww, bless you Cinny, still two months to go!

Wendz are you engaged as well? I lose track... Dinah, Birdie, Lara and Poddle...?

NIM, I'm afraid you just have to accept it as a fact of life that people are generally incompetent. Ever heard the phrase 'If you want something doing, ask someone busy'? - if you feel like a busy person take it as a compliment!

Ha Dinah I've got images of you in the office with a ruler going "Look at this - SEVENTY-FOUR CENTIMETRES!!" It's not that bad here, just really annoyingly windy!

I'm very busy at work so of course I've been doing some calculations looking at my bank accounts :D - I've worked out that I'm £1,850 (ish) off filling my ISA for this year. That's £231 per month or £61 per week ... Do you think I can do it?!?!
