We all make mistakes sometimes, but hopefully your bosses don't get too mad!
Hope you had fun in Edinburgh DinahLooking forward to viewing the house tomorrow? The neighbourhood sounds alright from what you've said.
How exciting about your second house viewing Lara! I'd love to be in that position. Do you think this house is 'the one'?
Dinah I like both dresses but I prefer the first one, I think because of the straps/neckline. I've posted this link before but I'm posting a picture cuz I love this dress so much!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

That is a really pretty dress Zig, who is it by? I'd want it in a lighter colour though!
I prefer the first one too, although the lace looks a bit chunky. Prefer the lighter style of the second one. But I won't know until they're on I guess.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It's by Maggie Sottero
I really like the colour of it but I think lighter would be better.
Are you able to go and try the dresses on somewhere? Have you done the official trip to the wedding dress shop yet?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Dinah - I prefer the 2nd one. It is absolutely stunning and so elegant and classy too
Zig - I love your one too. It's beautiful. My wedding dress was a Maggie Sottero. She has some beautiful gowns.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

He he, I'd never heard of Maggie Sottero til yesterday and now I feel like she's my best friend :rotfl: Spent the evening having my first peek at dresses :j
I like all three of the ones posted, although I'd prefer a lighter one too; my favourite is the 2nd one. Where are yours from Dinah, I'd like to have a look at that collection? What I really want to know is if you buy the dress do you get the figure thrown in too?
The photographers look good too Dinah, I would like two people as well. My brother's friends do the same thing and he got them heavily discounted but unfortunately their son was ill so only one of them turned up on the day. Not that any of us have seen the photos yet - the wedding was a year ago this week but my SiL fell pregnant on the honeymoon and was seriously ill for ages so the wedding was kind of lost in the stress of it all. Must ask to see the when I get home. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I am trying to negotiate doing 2 long days & fill the extra hours in over the evening to save on a childminder. I want to be with my baby as much as I can but I also want to work as I really like the work I do. But I reckon if I can spend 5 days out of 7 with the baby that is a good compromise
Aw, congratulations! I'm in exactly the same position as you, wanting to both stay at home with the baby and also be at work, as I love my job and have missed it so much during my illness. I've worked out a plan to save enough so I can have 9 months off at least - maybe I'll be able to get that up to the full year depending on timings.
I love Barcelona too, lovely!The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Glad you enjoyed your little holiday Dinah
And I like the sound of money making ideas! I agree with you about Ciao. I'm getting to the £5 level then I'm going to leave it I think, it's a lot of work for not much!
I've found this site yesterday that you might like though? (Full sized freebies for 100 word reviews - yes please!)
Personally I prefer the first dress - I think it's the neck line more than anything? Would really suit you though, but then I think they both would!
Bails - I looked at your posting times and thought 'She was up until when?!' Then remembered the time differencesYay for your first peak at Wedding dresses though! Any idea what kind of thing you're after?

I thought that about one of Bails' posts yesterday, took a minute to click!
Hope Edinburgh was good! Looking forward to hearing your money plans. I was thinking the same about Ciao - I spent most of yesterday rating and commenting and am STILL only at £2.84! Fair enough, you're copying the reviews from Dooyoo but you're not getting anything for the review itself so it's a lot of hard work! Bingoport seems much more profitable
I preferred Dress 2 - I wasn't keen on the neckline of no. 1 (that everyone else loves!) and the skirt seemed a bit too netty. And I liked the antiquey-ness of Zig's one too. I spotted a dress a while back that I love love loved, but now can't remember who made it. Probably for the best as it was about £1800.
