It is sad isn't it but i guess they see animals a different way to us. My Grandma lived on a farm as a child and told me she had a pet pig called Primrose and one day she woke up and her Dad had taken it off to market. Think I would have been very upset.
:eek:I dont think i would have been upset, i KNOW i would have been upset. I know animals are killed for meat, but the idea of having something as a pet then it being taken away for meat is awful.
I agree though think farmers definatly see animals differently to us, so the idea of killing a kitten wouldnt really bother them.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Zig, what is your stupid mistake debt?!
My Dad pays me £200 a month for my uni fees, and because it comes into my current account I have to move it to the ISA. The other week I thought I'd check that the amount in the ISA was the same as how much he had given me.
But it was £800 short! I checked through all my statements but there was nothing odd, I obviously just spent it when I should have moved it straight away. I'm such an idiot! I don't know how I spent that much and I have no idea what on. So now I have to pay it back quickly!
I used to go up to the local farm quite a lot and it used to really upset me seeing dead calves in the fields and stuff. But you can see how it is money to them, not animals, if that makes sense. They can't afford to keep a load of calves just cuz they're cute. But I wanted to keep them all!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

He was shambling around when we first went in, ignoring the food everyone was trying to give him, think he was full. By the time we came back to the barn he'd collapsed in a heap!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

My friend just text me saying her work have just sacked her with no pay etc. She was on probation so can't do anything. They said she doesn't answer the phones enough and isn't suited to the career! Feel really sorry for her, she has quite a lot of debt as well so she isn't going to be in a good situation0
