Hi,
I have just had a row with Vodaphone upon cancelling my contract. Beware even if you have signed a 12 or 18 month contract don't expect it to run out at the end of the period. You need to give 1 calendar month notice or it just runs on. The contract says you have to gice 1 calendar month notice for the minimum contract period.i.e. 12 months etc. What devious wording.A 12 month contract should be exactly that and they should ask if you wish to remove or continue!!

There is no "devious" wording at all in the contract.
Re read your contract ts + cs and you will see you have an open ended contract with a minimum period of x months to serve, and that whenever you (or they) wish to cancel the contract, a notice must be first served.0 -
the word is "tacit" , you give your tacit consent to the contracts continuation by not requesting that they cancel, my car insurance company does it every year, it means that by not protesting you are consenting0

Always hate the titles of threads like this, They should be called i never read my T&C`s and now i`m going to complain.
Like the posters above explain, Once the term is complete it turns into a rolling contract,
I would love to see the threads on here if the Companies just disconnected you after your minimum term, The boards would be full of people complaining about it. I just don`t see how this can be called underhand at all.0 -
I'm just amazed that people still don't know these things ??0

Nobody signs them because they don't exist. 12 and 18 month minimum term contracts do though.0 -
I'd rename this thread "Im a total idiot like the other 99.9% of threads like this". Read your T+C's, And stop spouting total sh*t on here. Moron.0
