Hi all,
My O2 contract is up and I would like to go to Web n Walk with T-mobile and use my existing P910i phone I have on O2.
Phoned T-mobile yesterday and the lady confirmed as long as it is web capable, it would work.
Phoned again today and was told it would'nt work ;-(
Can anyone on Web n Walk explain how it works? Can you you just manually configure the GPRS settings yourself and off you go or is there some special software required?
The P910i is not a 3G phone. Does this cause a problem?
Thanks

I ordered the web'n'walk contract this evening. Hope my SE works, but if not, I noticed this evening that they had added T-Mobile SDA II with Co-Pilot for free on web'n'walk with flext25.
The demo of the GPS system looks quite cool and its a Mobile Windows device. Not quite Symbian, but not bad for nowt!
The sales team told twice that it should be possible to use the p910i, but no promises, and once, no.
It would be a manual configuration job if it did work I understand.0 -
Go to the Sony Ericsson site and you can send the MMS and WAP settings for your phone for T-Mobile.
Hope this all works for you!0 -
There is no software to install, just need to phone them and they give you all the settings to put into your phone, but make sure that you ask to speak to the tech. dept. yourself,( Closed till Tuesday) as the service staff on the phone are not very good with this sort of thing. Oh, and be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes for them to answer the phone!!!The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
