Yep I have...just still not sure what. I have thought about primary teaching but that would mean going back to uni and a lot of expense. Also need to spend more time in school to make sure its something that I would REALLY want to do to warrant it. Then there was my hair brain idea about the arts/craft stuff...you see I am destined to be a wonderer! I would love to find a career that I would LOVE to do..sigh. The only thing I ever REALLY wanted to do was medicine and Im not brainy enough for that, or I wasn't at the time!
It took me ages to figure out what I really really wanted Sall....couldn't you use your love of crafts and do what my friend did she went back to be a textile teacher....she got a grant to do it...they actually paid her to do it.
I didn't think that I was brainy enough to be an accountant but I am plodding on - I might not be an A* pupil but I love my job which is 95% of the battle.....

I'm still doing it.
We'll still be able to see who's is who's with the race numbers.
I'll bring you the £42 on the weekend.

Good Good! I was hoping we'd be crossing the finish line at the same time!Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
And I know money is tight at the minute but I think if you are going to go back and learn anything now is the time to do it....while you are used to not having money. You are younger than me and I literally had to start again when I had Chloe....at 40!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Read the report. She's lied on what she did answer, missed out more than half the questions, skipped the section on mental health problems. Boy am I livid.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Sally, thanks for noticing! I haven't just lost it though, it's just that I've only just got round to updating my sig!
Would you just be doing a teacher training course, or a whole degree? There's grants and things available for it, and I think if it's just teacher training you can do it part time so you could still have some income.
If medicine interests you, there's loads of bursaries for that. My auntie's just done a nursing degree and she's in her mid forties, so you're definitely not too old!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Thats not a bad idea but not sure I could seriously handle older children in a school setting...would have to think about that
It must be so nice to do a job that you LOVE...and I am sure you have more brains than you give yourself credit for :T I just lack the ability to apply myself...had that on my school reports all through!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I think I am just slower than most of my counterparts.......it takes me longer to come up with the answers!!!
I actually think you would be good at the teaching lark Sally....my friend is such a good teacher...she treats the kids she teaches like adults...they adore her. If you can make a difference to some of these kids it has to be worthwhile....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
