I was ironing but I got waylaid by cheese on toast and last nights house.

Ryan had his first bath this morning and then was actually awake for more than 5 mins.....apparently just chillin and taking in his surroundings...

Sally my c**k of a husband woke me up at midnight to tell me he had missed the course he has to go on after being caught using his mobile on the motorway.....He hasn't he is just too vain to put his glasses on and read properly......

edit: what he thought I could do about it at that time of night:confused:

PMSL Sammy...its these IT geeks...useless (apart from our lovely Z of course!)

Yesterday I took Bea out and phoned him to ash if he could put the chicken in the oven, he said how long does it go in for..I replied its on the front of the chicken in a circle thing will tell you exactly. He couldn't find it and started stropping on the phone and said I'll just put it on. Got home and there it was right on the front plain and clear!

God work is boring...I need a new career!

  • Morning all,

I'm pulling a sickie today. :o I woke up at 4:30am with my IBS acting up again which basically meant I was stuck to the loo (sorry if that's TMI, I tried to keep it as vague as possible). Now, I get IBS when I'm nervous about something. I could be nervous about all kinds of things right now, from the essays and knowing I have to drive 6 hours on my own on Sat to clearing out the leftovers in the fridge which I know have grown mould by now. Bad, I know. I felt awful and was still awake at 5am, knowing I had to get up in an hour. So I called in sick to work. I feel fine now but since I said it was something I ate, I'll probably have to call in sick for the evening shift as well. So I'm going to make sure I have a productive day today, the fact that I'm losing money should help. :D

First thing I have to do is take my car in for a service. They said to take it in any time this morning so I'd better get a move on since the garage is on the other side of town and I'm not dressed yet. :D I'll post my list for the day in my next post. (Sorry I'm hogging the chat with this but if I post it in the diary that I haven't used in months, I don't think anyone will read it and I need the kick up the bum right now. :o)

Hugs Kayleigh, use your day off to do the jobs you've been putting off and sort the car out, sometimes it does you good to have a 'sort out' day.
    Does stress trigger the IBS?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

My legs feel surprisingly fine today after my long run yesterday.
It was so stuffy and hot yesterday, I was glad when it started raining on mile 6
