Hmm... should I follow Jo's example and go to the gym? I've got a 1-2-1 session at 7am tomorrow, but haven't done anything much since the weekend (and today I'm on 1329 steps  (good thing I'm off my food!)

Just realised I can't go to the gym as I haven't done the mid-year review stuff for my team.

Oh well, I'd better get the last cake in the oven and get on with it... wine may be needed...

    Zoe, congratulations
hex we're going to try the snack boxes again when I move
boddy hope your last day is a memorable one for all the right reasons, congratulations on your retirement
Penny we drove past the turn off for Leeds Festival on the A1, busy!
Pigpen ((hugs)) **passes grip** don't leave go mind it's the only one I have!

Well done to those who have got their GCSE results today, just sitting the things is an achievement in itself. My friends just found out her DD has been missing school when she didn't get results, she took in a false letter stating she had moved house to her boyfriends place and all correspondance from school about attendance has been going there, oh dear!

Up at 7am **yawns** DP and his obsession with leaving asap on home day, got packed up and drove back from Yorkshire. I went straight to the new house with clean clothes, shoe boxes etc as seen no point taking them to old house to move them again. Since we got back have filled both cars with stuff and took that over to new house, mainly from DPs garage **rolls eyes** so we can get FF out easier and boxes of books I quickly packed as they could be unpacked other end and boxes brought back. Was considering going back across tonight but think I will just pack boxes instead as my back is giving me grief. DP doesn't help pack so may aswell save what he will help with for when he's here! Agree with DP we do need a new suite, our old one doesn't look right in the room and doesn't fit very well, bother, more money! Oh you lot will be proud of me, well those who know what I am like.....I have one less than half empty (not half full) cupboard of tins, 2 shelves of frozen stuff which will be a mix mash for meals (tonight it's bits of pizza, spring rolls, garlic bread and fries with steamed veg........pick and mix?) one cupboard of baking stuff and that is all!! Not 12 cupboards of food to pack/move with or a full freezer. I am absolutely gob smacked I only have one freezer on now but need to get used to it as no room in the new house for 2 :( so I took stuff away from the freezer and we have managed to use most of it up.

I must remember to send rent cheque and notice tomorrow as I forgot today, will have to go special delivery I think because of bank holiday. Sending a cheque asking for either it back (and £50) or information about which deposit scheme our deposit is in. 6 months ago it wasn't in one and I did ask her to sort it out. I don't think I am evil enough to even consider reclaiming 3 times it back as we are entitled to if she hasn't protected it.

I am absolutely fuming but have done all I can about it, company we traded old car in with for my LandRover haven't paid the finance off!! I am fuming but have called their accountant who is looking into it, so not much more I can do apart from be cross, they have took 2 more payments out, thankfully their was spare cash in the account but now it's gone.

Oh my dishwasher arrives on Wednesday :D just need to find a plumber now....
One day I might be more organised...........

    Just one bean? :rotfl:

There's a credit crunch on you know - I bet Kaz turns it into a rubber bean - roast one day, cold the next and boiled for stock on the third :D

Well done on your course Bonsi

Hugs Hex - shoot 'em dead with your pen

Awww Piggers - hope your mood lifts soon - and everyone else who's down

Dolly day dream - skip the Dr and go up casualty...

Greenbee - do you know when you'll get a chance to look at that CV?

Sexym - looks like you're going great guns with the new job prep

Have half done the bathroom but it's not yet complete so I can't claim a star. Am having my first meeting with Gordon for several days to celebrate the fact I finally cut the cord with the sky movie bundle on my cable package.

Got a letter saying the cost for that package was going up £1.50 a month from October. I haven't really watched the movies for months it seems. DS only watches sky movies occasionally so I gave him the choice, he can pay the £18.00 (soon to be £19.50) per month for the service or I cut it.

    It is now cut! :D

    Hi all,

Jo i'm glad you enjoyed today.

I spent 2 hours this afternoon mowing and strimming my garden. I'm shattered now:rolleyes:. Ds1 weeded the path for me. Oh has taken Ds2 to the park so i'm having a sit down before i fall asleep.

I'm taking Dsd2 shopping for school uniform tomorrow and i'll get Ds1's trousers at the same time. I should do some ironing tonight but i'm not sure i've got the energy.

    Evening all

White wash done, dark wash appeared out of no where and done, dinner made, dishes washed/dryed/put past, kids bathed and school stuff all sorted. Off now to hoover the livingroom floor again as HRH has got crisps all over the place:rolleyes: before Kim and Aggie come on at 8. I like to be sitting pretty when that's on :rotfl:

Right hoover then tea made and TV see you all in the morning.
