HHC went fairly well - kitchen window cleaned - I was sort of hoping I could leave it for another week but burning a pan of rice (I was on the forms while I was cooking :rotfl:) steamed up and streaked the window so I have done the HUGE wondow and the sill and let the meter reader in. Oh and I popped onto another thread I have been contributing to to see that the person doing the wind up on the 'saucy job' thread adding stupid pointless comments there. Seems to be a total wind up merchant so he (I am assuming here) is my first ever ignore...to remind ME not to enter into arguments with 'him' really! I can back down and apologise when necessary - this jerk can't so I am saving myself the bother!

    back into the kitchen...

Oooh Quillion Morrisons rent them (Orkney Star reminded me!)

In my (slightly longer) HHC I:
    made beds
    checked on DS1
    put dishes away
discovered I had run out of stardrops and washing up liquid
put turkey joint in slow cooker
    tidied the livingroom
    hoovered downstairs
    WM
    decluttered bunkers in kitchen.

I have just found a mars muffin in the fridge so I'm decluttering the whole 367kcal all to myself:D.

GnB So sorry for your loss. Huge hugs.

PP lovely piggy. I will need to show HRH when she gets home she loves animals. There was a zoo at the birthday party she was at yesterday and she got to clap a rabbit, a duck and hold a snake and some other stuff too.

    Zoe hugs.

Toots hope your carpet fitting is going well.

    :hello:Hello, we're home!

It's been a lovely holiday, fantastic weather - too good really, on two days it was too hot to do anything. I loved Burgundy, I think it's the nicest place we've been in France so far.

Very sadly though, phone call from my sister on Thursday night to tell me that Mum had just died. She had been in hospital with pneumonia, and then came back to the nursing home as she was stable, then suddenly deteriorated. I don't know how I feel at the moment, not real in an odd way. We didn't come back early as it wouldn't have made any difference.

Not sure how the next few weeks are going - I'll fly when I feel like it! Just washing at the moment.

huge hugs honey that's awful. I know the kind of numb feeling your describing, like being on the outside looking in and not sure what to make of it all. PM me if you want a chat. x

How old is your DD??... one thing to be grateful for in what might seem a thankless situation - at least she felt that she could talk to you about it. Huge hugs... I can't really offer advice, but Mummyof5 has been in this situation not that log ago...

ETA - (((( hugs)))) for serena and your family too.

Utility room is looking remarkably clean & tidy now... and it didn't take long :o. Bathroom curtains and kitchen/hall muslins on the line. Dressing gown and bedroom muslins back in on a hot wash with some laundry bleach as they weren't looking very white  I now have no excuse to put off getting my rubber gloves on and getting the kitchen surfaces and table cleaned and polished!
