Well I shall have to call it a day with 4 stars but I think that is a record foe me!! Can't get in the spare room OH broke his desk last week and has dumped all the stuff off the desk onto the spare bed so he can wax the new desk (it does look very nice mind you!) Don't know when he will put his junk/stuff back on the desk!!
Have had a quiet weekend, making the most of the relaxation before I go back to school on WednesdayGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

Quiet day today - I've done a little more in the kids' rooms, and I do mean a little!
Church this morning. Sunday lunch, then dashed to S'bury's to buy cake ingredients for DD to make a Victoria sponge for BF - in the heart shaped tin Mum gave me years ago. It's now jammed and butter-iced in the middle, and awaiting the icing on the top.
I decided to make raspberry jam this afternoon, with home grown fruit (in the freezer). Is there any other jam that smells so gorgeous when it's cooking? I just must not eat it all;) Only made 3lb, and have enough fruit for another 3lb I think, and also gooseberries, and lots of redcurrants - I could try a summer fruit if I have any odds and ends. There were lovely apricots when we were in France and I intended to bring some back for jam but it went out of my mind.
I'm really sorry for making some of you cry - I didn't mean to...:o It is a lovely little rose garden.
hex - I'm a southerner, never left home county - except for the year I lived in Northern France.Oddly, on occasions, people have asked me if I come from the north... If anything, I have an original north Kent accent, which has faded living in East Kent. I do not however drop my 't's' like the locals do!!There have been occasions when I've regretted naming my daughter Natalie...I don't like my recorded voice either (does anyone?).
blimus o'reilly - A southern accent with that user name? So how does that work??:pIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

My first week of flying and I am not going to be able to finish my tasks, although most of that can be blamed on our lack of hot water. Hopefully next week will start with one of my tidier rooms so I can try an sort the others out before their day comes!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
