If anyone else is in Norfolk at the moment, and can brave the bank holiday traffic, Quillion and I are meeting at Bircham Windmill at about 4ish (I'm walking, so can't be precise!). I'll be the one with the orange [STRIKE]fleabag[/STRIKE] labrador
That's a shame - I've only just got back from Norwich but would've loved to have met up with you - even though I'm not quite sure where Bircham Windmill is.

sorry - it was a bit short notice as we didn't really have time to plan. This is where we went. I took the dog and walked about three miles there (so was a bit late) and met Quillion and her DH & DS. They were all lovely and we had a nice gossip while her DS ran round and played - they have ponies & sheep & chickens etc which kept him occupied (he's got a lot of energy!).
I walked back (so have done about 12 miles today), and my mother is FINALLY in her studio doing the drawings for her next painting, so I'm going to make a tomato tart for tomorrow, and then make supper. Then I think we'll watch Wuthering Heights, but which time I'll be ready for bed! Hopefully I'll manage to get lots of walking in tomorrow too.

rach you are right there is some gentlemen, I've got friends like that and a partner who prefers me to be 'independant' shall we call it... at least yours does fly
holly HHI a day? Wow I don't do that much a week :rotfl: hope you feel better soon
greenbee it's usually the owners registration document but you could try a small local autoparts centre that does them and explain situation.
zara ((hugs)) hope you are ok
hex I am with you on the shopping thing, I hate it too
Mudbath I wouldn't bet on the not doing it again for the next time you go, mine does it every time! Sounds like a great holiday for you all together next year, I know a few people who do the same sort of thing.
jinky yes was shootings in 2 parts of Durham, one near Stanley one of the villages and one near County Hall, related incidents by the sounds of it, got a feeling I know who was invovled.
Popped to the coop to ask for boxes which they are keeping me, got to pick them up at 7, not far off now ish. Spotted some chiken tikka ready meals being sold off when I was in so that was a quick/easy tea just eaten for me and the boys. We are now decluttering icecreams from the freezer
Someone collected the composter this evening so that's one thing gone, waiting with the lawnmower as it's all want want wanters who have responded so far, prefer to give to someone who also offers items on freecycle. I've slung out 6 bin bags worth of stuff today inc paper/plastic recycled, bins are now all full so will have to bag up and wait to see if the neighbours bins have space in.
People in corners sons made me pleased I am moving, their parents were away all weekend (they are in forces somewhere but back home a lot) so they were partying all last night revving cars, shouting, music etc then today he blocked our drive again, anyway DP reversed the car/trailer up and just said if he wants to be out he will have to ask like we are always having to ask them. Well no, what did he do, rammed his car onto the kerb, drove over next doors garden and off along the path, what a tit. Boys are sat on the floor watching tele as DP has took the big one over the new house so just got a portable, a little odd but we needed to move it at some point.
I've done most of my list and some additional bits, so this evening looks something like this, there is a method in the madness of moving everything to the conservatory, the front doors offset and a pig to get round with bags from the LR so we'll be taking most stuff through there.
Coop for boxes, must remember to buy bin bags and bread
Finish packing up stuff which already exists in the conservatory which involves sorting through another 5 boxes of alsorts and 2 'don't open that' drawers....joys
Move bags/boxes from LR to conservatory that are packed
3 more laundry loads (unsure where it keeps appearing from!)One day I might be more organised...........
