Doesn't pinching your GFX card fall firmly in the category of 'theft/fraud'?

Do you still have some proof the laptop had a different card in (eg, your proof of purchase of the higher spec card/laptop config).

I'd be thinking about talking to the police at this point....

Thats the wierd thing - if I had to take a guess at what was wrong with the laptop I'd say it was the graphics card as the symptoms were "graphic corruption" on screen - which I stated on the auction.

I did look into getting another graphics card for the laptop but they're rarer than a hard up politician, and not cheap either, and I dont have the diagnositic equipment to determine if that was actually the problem anyway. So I might have spent out cash only to still be left with a faulty laptop.

The buyer did say that he took it to be repaired, and maybe they switched the faulty graphics card but then found the motherboard was also faulty..

Please send all the newbies to me, I am more than happy to sell to them.

Your plan does of course have a flaw, how can anyone ever get enough feedback to buy anything if they can't buy anything until they have 20 feedback:confused:

I have more problems with so called established ebayers with loads of feedback. So bring on the newbies they pay quick and are polite

Ebay are on a mission to ban everyone anyway, so sooner or later the problem of scum ebays will be solved.

Again though how would anyone ever be able to set up a new account if they can't buy without feedback but can't buy anything to get feedback?

Think they want to cease the issuing of new accounts, rather than ban new accounts from bidding, soolin. That's the way I read it anyway.

Frankly for me the more buyers the better..let them all sign up but maybe make sure they do a tutorial or something before they are allowed to bid.
