Ebay is great and you can get everything there.

I agree that AdditionsDirect has some great fashionable stuff that is well priced. Often discount codes too have a search on the discount codes. I have found this useful to fill gaps in my wardrobe whilst carrying extra from no. 3 - mind you he was 2 a couple of weeks ago so no excuse now!

La Redoute have a 'mini price' section which is quite reasonable for basics. They have a website but also have a catalogue so you could pick what you want and order it online. They usually have offers for new customers as well.

  • I used the personal shopper service in John Lewis and Debenhams. It was the best thing I ever did.

I sat in the special lounge of the personal shopper while breast feeding my little one and spoke through what I was looking for and likes and dislikes and sizes.

Had a cup of coffee while she picked some suggested items.

Little one lay and played on the floor on the rug by the sofa and I stepped into the private changing room linked to the suite with the door permanently ajar so I could watch over the little one while trying on my rail of clothes.

I gave feedback on what I liked and didn't like and what I would like her to search more for, and back she came. I tried on things I wouldn't normally pick out for myself but which I loved when they were on.

I spent just £90 in the end on a couple of things and wasn't made to feel guilty just buying a few items, I had spent over 2 hours with the personal shopper and had freebie drinks and a whole suite to myself.

I would recommend it any time.
