    Morning All!

    Hope everyone is OK :)

I have reviewed my monthly budget and sent the funds to the UK, just have to wait for them to arrive.

I'm pretty pleased with myself, as, thanks to my bonus, this month I have got all the family's birthday and xmas pressies, bought my flights home for xmas, sent extra back to the UK for o/d and Virgin CC, and another 96 quid for a friend (she paid for a ticket for me last month for an event we are going to in May) AND I still have enough left here to pay my bills, buy food and even get the OH's Christmas pressie too!

The bonus was OK, but not fantastic. Most of this is just down to better budgeting and bargain hunting. I finally decided to stop spoiling my neice's and nephew with gifts that usually only get about 5 minutes of their time! I opted for smaller, more useful stuff, on special deals etc (cos they'll never know anyway!).

I might even open up that elusive savings account this month. I haven't before as you need to deposit €100 to start with. I have that now, but still want to get a bike. I'm just having a hard time convincing myself to part with the money! lol But, it needs to be one or the other. I refuse to let it just get wasted on a load of silly things I don't need.

I've also been very organised and ordered the food shop online which always works out cheaper.

Ahh, peeps, I'm sooo happy about all this. I'm seeing the improvement with my finances each and every month! I can't remember the last time I had the luxury of deciding between a bike or savings!

    Thank you all! :)

    And have a good day.

    xx

TIFTK - hope your little boy is ok now? and your feeling better. Your doing a great job, if not padding every day then at least not increasing your debt. I think we all feel a bit crap sometimes especially with these dark mornings and dark nights  and everyone talking about christmas  I haven't started my xmas shopping yet and I don't have a clue what everyone wants!! Plus OH is working xmas eve and xmas day yet again

I can tell the kids are away, the fridge is still fairly full :rotfl: so I haven't needed to go shopping at all! My purse actually has money in it from the weekend, unheard of when kids are here :rotfl::rotfl:oh and the washing and ironing piles are very low :j:j (apart from DS2 )

Had a fright with the puppy yesterday, took them both out for a walk and she started chasing crows, she made me laugh so much cos it looked like she was about to take off when she got near them, she'd jump high in the air as if she was going to catch one :rotfl: then she stumbled and just stood there looking at me! I went over to her and she collapsed, her gums were grey  I thought she was going to pass out - do dogs faint?? Really scared me as I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no mobile!!:eek: Picked her up and started walking back to the car, she just laid her head on my shoulder - not like her at all! Anyway as you can imagine I was passed myself - especially after what happened with George a few months ago. Then she just seemed to go back to her normal self so am hoping that she just over did it chasing crows and went a bit light headed, will keep an eye on her and if she does it again we'll be off to the [STRIKE]money grabbing [/STRIKE] vets for a check up!!

    Sorry for the ramble :o

Pad today is £2 to ISA, £15 cap1 and 16p to copper jar

Thanks Purple of the totting up :T:T
