No, not the best - my consultant had a junior doctor in with him and was helpfully pointing out the features of my cervix to him. Hope your results come back ok.
:rotfl: Didn't think about prostate checks! Don't think that would be pleasant!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Evening all :j thought I better PAD before I forget.... looked at bank a/c in credit this morning, felt quite proud
. Just looked again now - it shows all the payments coming out tomorrow so therefore showing o/d:mad:
Anyhow, decided to PAD £70 to o/d to make it less than £200 o/d, although it won't be till tomorrow IYSWIM !! So Mac, PAD for today please is £70
Funny old day for me today too - talked to the accountant about paying off the debts & now feel a bit disheartened........ It's a bit hard to fathom, but as I understand it, as we are self-emp & both directors of our company; each year we are voted a certain amount of Directors Fees from 1 Jan . This is based on turnover from the yr before. Whatever that figure is, providing we earn enough, we can spend that amount of money in the year & will then pay no extra tax. However, for example say the amount voted was £20,000 & we managed to spend £30,000, we would then have to pay tax at 40% on the difference. So in other words, if we exceeded the amount we're allowed this year by paying off cc debts that are at say 25% interest , we might end up paying another 40% on top in tax. It's a blow to PADDing big amounts I can tell you, I feel gutted
It hasn't been an issue before as we didn't earn enough, I need to find out how much we have been voted this year, & how much we've already spent
