Feels good to be PADDING more than a £ again. Will see how I get on this month. I have a strict budget set which should leave me in surplus  for the first time in years at the end of the month, this to carry over and help with the huge stretch between paydays moving jobs in Oct. Fingers crossed.

Have some really big news tho......OH has been offered a job back in St Maarten (in the Caribbean) :j:jso he should be going there soon, he made loads of money there before so fingers crossed. PLUS he's gonna get me a job out there once I've finished this year's OU course (very excited as it's my fave place in the world). I lived with him in Antigua but it didn't live up to St Maarten......

Good morning all! I'm back!
Well, I was back yesterday, but only managed to find enough energy to stare at my computer screen, not enough energy to think of something half decent to say! lol
The Festival was fab! Very, very hot! The Kaiser Chiefs were amazing and the best act there by far. The whole thing was exceptionally expensive though! Really!
You had to buy tokens to use as 'currency' there. Each token cost €2.40 and that would only get you a small cup of water, small beer, or a big bag of crisps. Everything else just got more and more expensive! Stupidly expensive! My OH ending up spending close to €300 just to make sure we had enough to eat and drink (and beer too of course). Don't worry, I will be paying some of that back to him.
Pay day today! Gonna call up the health insurance peeps soon and pay off the last of the oustanding back premiums, and then you will have a PAD from me! Whoop!
Also, the cheque from A&L finally arrived on Saturday and my Mum paid it in for me yesterday so will have another PAD for that later this week.
Yay!
Hope you're all well. I think I have a cold coming on but have just managed to get Friday off for my OH's 30th birthday!
Chat later xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

This is what marriage is really all about
He ordered one hamburger, one order of chips and one drink. The old man unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half. He placed one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the chips, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them kept looking over and whispering. You could tell they were thinking, "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them."
As the man began to eat his chips a young man came to the table. He politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything.
The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything."
As the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked "What is it you are waiting for?"
She answered
