Some good news,
We got the letter today to say we qualify for the sure start maternity grant so £500 big ones in the back burner!!!:j.
Was suprised as we didnt qualify last time and wasnt even going to claim this time till someone on here advised I should, thought we earnt too much.:D.
Sorry Jo, would love to PAD the lot straight away but got to sit on it for a while as i said in earlier posts going from weekly to monthly pay this month and things are going to be tight from the last weekly money till the first monthly, so prob wont get padded till October which will be someone else.:o.
Im determined not to use it, along with the £800 we are getting from my health insurance, what a pad that will be for one lucky pad arranger in October.:T0 -

Thanks for the good wishes it went well looks like I will be offered the position just one afternoon a month with some paperwork to read beforehand the best news is that in addition to travelling expenses they will pay £100 per month so that was a real unexpected bonus. I am a happy bunny.
I havent heard from Terri did see a laptoplil on the bingo and wondered if it was her but didnt want to make a fool of myself by asking so Terri please check in just to let us know you are OK.

Ah well. My debt is now higher than it was at the start of the day. Got in from work to find my Co-op credit card bill on the mat (the one I used for the holiday spending).
This will get priority as there is a £200 cash withdrawal (at high interest) trapped at the top end of it. Mind you, even there cash withdrawals are cheaper than a normal spend on MBNA (if you exclude the cash withdrawal fee)0
