I know, just hanging on for my raspberries to finish growing which I reckon will be about 10:30pm and then I can harvest them and go to bed :rotfl: I'll check on it all tomorrow before I go to Uni just to make sure nothing's going to wither. Will you get rid of the leaves, any weeds and keep the crows away for me?? :rotfl: Afterall, you're the pro!! :rotfl:

I'm like you Mac. I do 250-300 miles a week  Don't forget the scrappage scheme or if not, often you can get £500 if you can drive your old car in regardless of state
Paul................I don't think I will ever be in a position to buy new but if I were then I would opt for something that was a year old, depreciation is a killer, often 25% can be knocked off in the first year. I don't blame you for running it in a further 2 years. I dread to think how much your 2 1/2 grand would be now
Funnily enough, the 2 and a half grand for kitting out a van would be rather less now. There is a lot more competition in the marketplace for installing window cleaning water systems in vans and I know where I could get it done for a thousand less. It would mean a long drive and overnight stay up north though but it would still represent a decent saving. As for first year depreciation, the taxman makes allowance for this with work vehicles. The capital allowance on a van is now rather higher in year one.0 -
I need neighbours too! Not sure what I'm doing but I'm on level two already
