i bet thats annoying! - can you tell me valli (if you read this) is it customary on here to thank people who have posted to your threads. I have gone through threads i started and thanked people who posted - even where i didnt agree with them!0
-
If a poster has helped you and you like the post - hit the thanks button.
Even on other threads, if you like the post or it has given you information that you find useful - ditto.
If you dont like the post - ignore themmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
- even tho sis has given DIL a letter saying she was made redundant, which looks a bit better on cv.
Hi
It's nice to find out what happens.
Just wanted to say that a CV as such does not need to give a reason for leaving any job. Application forms often ask but a CV is your own document so you put what is really relevant to your getting an interview. Save the space which would be taken in explaining to either allow more "light" in the form of white space or to add information about the work done.
Of course, at an interview an explanation for a move may be sought by a recruiter, so you need to be prepared for that.0 -
I am thanking on my thread (about pocket money) at the moment - because people are giving me good advice or pointing out things I had forgotten or not even thought of...
it amuses me when people thank me in their post without actually pressing the thanks button :rotfl:
(nips back to press a certain thanks button herself
