Tea done with so time to confess -have always been careful with money not a names girl but suddenly started to notice Radley handbags. In my 50 yrs have only probably shelled out £25 a time and felt extravagent on a handbag!!!Well decided that now is the time to get one if l was going to-have scoured ebay ,the Radley site, debenhams etc and fell more in love with them.Tomorrow had trip planned with DD2
get that bag ! they are lovelythe truth is out there ... on these pages !!0 -
Cheers dude. After a nightmare conversation with a horrible manager woman this morning about it not being there and her - believe it or not - telling me I had to be more patient() and trying to blame me for the fact it wasn't there yet, it arrived this afternoon. Which I was very :j about.... until I went in and (altho the dress is lovely - pics to follow) spoke to same horrible manager woman who was vile in person too. Completely deflated my mood and now I just want to get the dress out of there and seek alterations elsewhere (would use t'other B2B's new seamstress lady who is lovely). She also dropped the bombshell that if I wanted the ties to be made for me through their seamstress (as previously discussed) that I a) "should've" ordered the fabric when I ordered the dress  (never discussed as necessary) and b) would cost me not only the £20 per metre for the fabric (from which 3 can be made, apparently so I would need 3m for 8 ties) but also an additional £10 per tie. She was so vile, and the experience of trying to get the dress and the right coloured fabric swatches etc so rubbish, that I now don't trust them or want to be around them and just want to get my dress out of there as soon as humanly possible, whilst not wanting to lose the only chance of getting my ties made. So tomorrows order of business is ringing every conceivable seamstress and/or tailor to find someone else that can made them for me and either a)tracking down the right colour material myself or b)cutting up some bridesmaids dresses/shawl things to make them from. Stress.

sue good luck with the jam making.
kass, raeh, is this the last week of school holidays?
i need to go to tescos this morning (have finall found a cat treat that whitney likes for the first time in her life, but she ran out), before it starts gettin busy at 8 but its freezing outside, feels like autumn mornings already. so much for the nice summer they predicted this year then. then i ahve to decide if i want to volunteer enough to let them rview my dla, or indeed if it is even worth the hassle and stress of doing so or should i just forget it and leave things ticking along nicely as they are.0 -

lw Ive made the jam, but because I was doing other stuff as well I think I might have boiled it too long, it seems really sticky, do you think it will be ok ? anyone want some jam, one lump or two :rotfl:
Ive got an app at the hospital this afternoon to see the Uro, just hoping I wont be there too long, I hate the waiting.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Sharon good for you; every woman should have a nice handbag! I recently had to replace mine, as it was getting quite tatty; I had to get it sent over from Belgium as I couldn't find anything I liked here. I have (again) gone for a Belgian tapestry bag. This is it: http://www.millefleurstapestries.com/zoom.dhtml?img=/fotos/RYMED8962_de.jpg,title=shoulderbag
Pcl I wish I could cope with having a house fairy, but I'm afraid it'd stress me out. House still feels a tad empty, but Molly-Dog's coming again in October.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
