    Urg - It isn't a small holding , although that waas the original idea, just a cottage in a very rural area but with enough of a garden to allow me to grow stuff, keep chickens,do composting etc and still have a big garden areafor a lawn etc to keep OH happy .:D

    best bit is that my next door neighbour is another mse'r with the same ideas and hobbies so we are having fun encouraging each other with our frugal ways:p

    Lurlene - great dfw holiday plans, sure T will love the trains :) My son ws T the engine mad as a littlie and can still name all the engines now he is 21 lol

    Am having an awful day - so far.
    Nothing productive whatsoever - endless falling out with my son - and hating myself for the whole damn mess I've created.
    Aiming to be debt-free, and have my degree, by 50 ! :j

    (((hugs)) my mess, don't be so hard on yourself it isn't productive and will only mke you feel worse, try and do one positive thing no matter how small . at least you will feel like you are achieving something.Even if it is only saying to yourself " Today I haven't increased my debts" it's a start xxx

    Not much on the DFW front today (although lots of relaxing) :)
    • Scratchies (£0.20)
    • Free bingo (didn't win anything, odd - there were only 500 of us in the room!)
    • Pay loose change into bank account to stop myself going overdrawn :o - done
    • Check online banking and savings
    • Little bit of Amazon shopping with vouchers
    • LSD (less than £5 for the whole weekend isn't bad)

    Today we have:
    - Gone to Longleat and used our passes
    - Got another piece of clothing for school (paid by fairy godmother :D)
    - Meals from what is in except lunch
    - Carry on working on translation
    - Check online banking

    this weekend i will be washing on cheap electric if possible, and line drying
    updating online banking
    transfering savings from shopping trips this week to savigns account
    scratchcards
    won't spend too much in B&Q but will remember 15% off voucher
    don't spend too much in town
    try not to eat out - have to work out how to keep OH from 'inisiting'
    do the kids scrapbooking layouts of the wedding

    • free scratchcard (10p)
    • did a tiny bit of overtime on top of my normal shift
    • HM soup for dinner
    • did some wirting planning
    • iron work clothes for tomorrow
    • do UKCAT practice questions

    This weekend I:
    • send of NCB to new insurance company - why have I not done this yet?!
    • fling a few more things on ebay
    • tidy out the kitchen cupboard and see what is lurking that I have forgotten about!
    • ditto for freezer
    • write letter of complaint re: food at fundraising event (I was one of the organizers and the catering was cr.ap and it wasn't cheap! just in case you thought I was being a tight-wad and gonna moan to a charity!)
