FAO Madasafish support

Hi,
Ive recently moved house and had Madasafish activated (on this websites advice!) Unfortunately out of the 2 weeks or so ive had it, its worked for about a total of 3 days. I contacted the techincal line and it worked for about 2 hours. Now its down again, then sometimes up again, then down again. Very very annoying. It seems to be everytime we use the phone, it cuts us off for about 2 days after. Then it works again until we use the phone then the same thing. Ive got filters on all the lines, the BB is plugged into the main line. Ive done this a few times on my familys computers so pretty much know what Im doing. Ive changed filters, computers, cables, unplugged all the phones, everything that I can do Ive done. Now can anyone else offer advice on how to sort the problem. I dont want to spend hours on the phone to tech support (is it a 50p /min line?), I just want to get the service Im paying for.
Ive got a youngster who set up a hotmail account, greatest thing in the world according to him, loadsa new mates and emails from his new school. Now to have it inaccessible causes us some great earache. Please help.

Thanks
Lee

  • Hi Lee,

I work in Madasafish Customer Support.

If your broadband has just gone live, it may be that we're still trying to find the optimum speed for your line (up to 8Mb). There is a 10 day stabilisation period (for some people this may be less) where you may get slower speeds then expected or occasional drop outs.

As you've stated in your letter that the services have been live for 2 weeks, please PM me your username and I'll look into this for you!

As a side note, the broadband technical support line is 0870 160 1387. You will need to check with your call provider to see what they will charge you per minute to call this number. For most people it is less than £0.10 a minute.

For our non subscription pay as you go dial up customers, there is a £0.50 a minute technical support number, please only call the 0870 160 1387 if you are a broadband customer.

    Kind regards,

    Samara
