Travelodge, Vicar Lane, Leeds.

Stayed there last Sunday night, couldnt fault it.
Clean, modern, comfy beds and professional staff. Didnt eat there but saw quite a lot of other people doing so and it looked quite good.

Could imagine it could be quite noisy on a Saturday night as its on a main road but Sunday night was quite quiet.

The only downside was that we got there at 2.30 and they wanted a £10 early check in fee. No way, we went for a coffee, 2 of them cost a site less than a tenner. half an hour later we were allowed to check in with no problem. The best of it was the price £29 for the two of us.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

It was just recently converted from the Riva hotel, so has been refurbished recently rather than deteriorated like many other Travelodge's. One plus about it for me is that it has Twin Rooms rather than Family Rooms which very few Travelodge's do. ;)

I recently stayed in the travelodge in Basingstoke (across the road from the Retail Park) and that was good too.

If things are not right just go to Reception and explain, they will be quite happy to help you.

Thanks!got to say they look clean - and a decent price - not £29 though!
  • Over the last two months, my family. Two adults and four children have stayed in family rooms x2 costing 19 per room in....
    Hockliff Travelodge,
    Reading Travelodge,
    Cardiff Travelodge
    Herford and Gloucester Travelodge.
All were lovely and clean. We only eat breakfast in the Cardiff one. We didn’t pre book so paid 7.50 per Adult and our four children eat free. It was nice food and really worth the money. Next time I will pre book breakfast though as it was cheaper. We split these stays over two trips and it worked out much cheaper than camping which is what we normally do in the summer months.

Wow - I will have to keep a look out at this price - it makes you just book a break - giveaway prices.
  • yes they normal have sales and on those days you can get rooms for either 9 pounds or 19 pounds depends on what sale price they are giving on that sale.
I allways find someone hear tells us when the sale is going to be. Since we have been they emailed me the last sale time.
