It's not a derelict house, it's the toon's Art Centre!

That wallpaper is actually really cool. You need to offset the rest of the room to go with it, but strip those floor boards, get a nice sofa and good lighting and I really like that room.

The rest is a bit crap though.

Edit: This is a perfect example of that 'affordable housing' that Hamish McSporran was talking about the other day. Apologies if this post was your subtle was of making that point OP. I've had three pints and two cocktails so subtley is flying right over my head at the mo.

Is that one of those places that used to sell for a few thousand quid a few years ago? (Genuine question, not being sarcastic).

Hmm, boarded up windows say a lot about the area - I wouldn't touch it no matter how cheap it got.

    Indeed it is.

Sadly it`s also one of those places where southern migrants get kicked to death at their housewarming party.

    Stay where you are folks.

Frankly it's a tough enough commute from the Western Suburbs into Central Sydney. NE England to Sydney on a daily basis may well finish me off!

Surely no journey is too long if the rewards are sufficient?

    Come back all is forgiven.
