I don't want or need a new sofa but the tv is full of ads for DFS SCS etc etc
The worst thing is DFS are using "The closest thig to crazy" a great song which I really like, but it's driving me crazy grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! >:(

About time DFS & MFI had a sale. What I would like to know is where and when do they sell the items at full price for 28 days as required by law?

arrrrgh! linda barker !!!!
sorry, just had to get that off my chest :-)
yes, i also wonder when they actually sell sofas at full price!52% tight0 -
I bet neither LB or that chap from Spandau Ballet with the make up,( is it Martin Kemp? ) (wasn't he in Eastenders? ) would be seen dead with a DFS sofa in their living room.
LB is on every advert isn't she?
Must be desperate to be on TV LOL0 -
another thing that bugs me about these companies is that they are forcing the fact of free this and interest free credit, and dont care who they sell them too, my hubbys cousin as recently purchased a suite from DFS for just short of £2000, and he cant afford the payments really, he'll struggle to manage them cos he's that type, but i think its really unfair >:(
???

Apparently they only have to offer the goods on sale at the higher price in one outlet - which is usually in the Outer Hebrides or similar. Obviously they don't expect to sell any at this price, but as they wouldn't have anyway in a low population area in 28 days they have nothing to lose.
It's another con trick >:(I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

How many sofas did he get for £2k? Did he go on the one day they weren't having the sale??? All the ads show sofas costing just a few hundred quid. ROFL~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

He got a 3 a 2 and 1 seaters, they had limited stock of all the sale stuff and only choice what was actually on display and a bit worse for wear, he was told if he wanted to order it may not b available and be at least 17 weeks for delivery, so was conned into buying a much dearer one >:( ??? :-XNobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission

wouldn't it make more sense to sell them at the higher price in an area that wasn't outer hebrides, where some people would actually buy the sofas just because they could? - then they would make more money and still have stuff on sale there after the 28 days0
