Seen a postie go past.........looks different to the usual one, and looking lost......went to go outside to ask if he needs any help and he was gone, it would just be my luck now that he posted in the wrong street........ with having VERY similar addresses, especially the first part of the address:mad:, this always happens, and if its the street I'm thinking of they will be away until after xmas.........

When we asked about the delivery side of things to the FSCS, they said the batch was sent out on first class yesterday......, lets just hope rather than it gone to the wrong address, that we will receive this by tomorrow.

And hope all still waiting will have yours as well.

  • I didn't get any post today Di although I don't know whether a cheque has been sent out. If we don't hear anything by Monday my husband is going to give them a ring because that will be 2 weeks since our file was sent back from Deloitte to the FSCS.

I'm getting so fed up with this now but fingers crossed we won't have much longer to wait.

    Hi Chickpee
    Its annoying isn't it?
The way the guy said to my hubby on the phone yesterday is that they would be sent out yesterday in a batch, and said our cheque was amongst this, maybe yours will be as well hun. I do hope so.;)
Its the fact really that we have to keep on at them isn't it?
We would not have to otherwise would we?

Chickpee, yours is priority as well isn't it?

I am sure I read that someone elses was on here too as well as mine, but could not remember who?

Still priority or not, 2 weeks is surely ample time for them to deal with these claims.

  • No ours isn't a priority but I'm feeling like it should be now! Ours was originally back with the FSCS from Deloitte at the end of September so I don't know what the hold up has been.

It is all very frustrating and annoying especially as the FSCS give you so little information (in our experience anyway!)

I hope you hear tomorrow Di xx

And with lack of information from them that does not help.

I remember being told many weeks ago as well from deloittes it was passed back to the FSCS, then told it wasn't, and we were so annoyed, being told one thing, then another.......
Deloittes had our case to deal with as from July, earlier than the default date, and I'm sure if they requested for all the info they needed back then, it may have been sorted by now, but they kept losing my documents......, where I had to keep sending more.

Lets hope we have more positive news in the post for tomorrow hun, everything crossed for you as well.:A;):beer:XXX
