    OMG what?
    What is going on?

I thought yours was also a priority case? am I correct?

No not a priority! I asked him if there was a huge backlog of work and he said no! Said they would look at and if they agreed with deloitte they would write and let us know and if they did not they would write and let us and deloiitte know and ask them to do further work!

Then got the same old bumpf about 6 months!

Not looking hopeful for Christmas for my kids....could cry:cry:

I think I did read something along the lines on here, it can take up to a month after the case have been passed over, but I think that would be just to cover themselves.
If they no backlog, surely while they have your claim there, they could just get it done with.

I hope we are successful as well, we told C&G our mortgage lender if we are the money will be paid towards the arrears, if we are not then goodness knows for now.......
I have my youngest son that has special needs asking for certain things for xmas as well, that is awkward, with the worry on the mortgage, until hubby gets back into work, hope that won't be too long either.

Its so frustrating isn't it hun?
With xmas approaching as well, and kiddies to cater for.......in this case I do hope they pay out everyone sooner rather than later. Xx

I bet you will hear this week Di from what they said last week. I know xmas can be a struggle. My daughter has asked for a laptop this week but had to say "no". We have bought a bit of memory off ebay and it seems to have speeded her old one up a little. She also wants another phone which I think we can stretch to. So much has happened this year and in so little time. We too are waiting for our complaint to be heard so to speak. Have had some communications but nothing settled as yet. I just hope its soon for us all. I think the FSCS is quicker than FOS though when companies are actually declared in default. FOS is taking forever on complaints now.

I hope you all hear something soon. Xmas is stressful enough without having your claims dragging on as they are.

    Good luck to you all

I asked if would be ok to ring back at the end of the week for an update and he said no point but to ring again in a month as it would easily take that long for it to be looked at! EEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!!:confused::confused::confused:

We remortgaged and they need the interest we had paid on the PPi side of the new loan

As for Target, i'ts confirmation of the figures from the account they need from them, I think. PPI amount, interest paid/NCB/any claims made etc.

Mine with Twopart ltd that went into default, and they also requested the lenders details, the lender were Nemo and they required the calculations of that one I think, and they received these a month or 2 ago now, so it may be the same with Target I am not sure hun.
I think one of the others when here will explain this later, but busbyh posted this up yesterday of what was required of her's I think, for example: Hope you don't mind me posting this up Busbyh X

We are investigating a claim I relation to an alleged miselling of PPI Sold by the above firm. We have been informed that the original loan supported by the policy we are investigating has now been refinanced through a loan with Nationwide.

The info they are requesting is as follows:

    · Total interest paid to date on the premium element of £8732.50
    · The amount of any redemption fee payable if the premium element of £8732.50 is repaid to the loan
    · The rates of interest applied to the loan from inception, including the dates they were applied
    · A statement of account showing monthly payments made so far in relation to this agreement.
In relation to the PPI (if calculated by you) any premium rebates due upon cancellation/already paid under “cash back” schemes (if applicable)

Hi di. No problem with you posting info. Best to let others know.
Sorry there is no news today, although I never really think Monday is a good day for cheques, as even iff sorted over the weekend the post would not be collected until today

    Tuesday will be hopefully better:D

with deloitte ,going to make their recommendation

I was told by Deloitte, that they do the calcs then forward them to FSCS for final check. If any problems it will be sent back to Deloitte, and Deloitte then maybe have to request the figures again from Target. This is what happened in our case.
I was told last Thursday that our was in the batch sent over from Target and case worker sounded quite positive.
The batch they send over , I believe, is quite big, so I feel we will all be on this one. esp as FSCS say there is no backlog:beer:
