    Benaiebabe, if you do have to pay the rebate off the loan, I would do as you said to pinknico and reduce it off the amount you intended to pay off the arrears and let Picture do the sorting out.
    That way you will still gain from the rebate and give them the hassle with the insurance.

    old=Wulf posted and said that Picture rebate amount was actually £200 more than the FSCS said.;)about the only thing they have done in our favour:D

    Thanks hun. I know what you mean about Picture but I dont think I am going to fight it dont think I could face it now we have all been fighting for long enough just wnat normality and peace. Maybe I am wrong and should fight but after nearly two years you dont have a lot of fight left.:A

    Understand totally how you feel di. At least it will come off your loan.If you have paid off your arrears it should come off the capital amount,:beer:

    Hi hun

    My hubby rang the FSCS today, as we were told last week they were dealing with our case then, as priority, they first said that they were still waiting to hear from deloittes, then hubby told them that deloittes sent the information back on the 15 or 16 Oct, and the FSCS also confirmed by email on the 19th they received them as well.

    Anyway, the guy rang back up then to say they will be dealing with it as soon as possible, seems like we are all getting the same messages, maybe our lot is the next batch hun.;):beer:
