Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

I should think you can tell them you want to cancel the insurance and use the rebate to pay off the arrears, and pay them any remaining arrears.
Is that how you want to do it?
I think that would be the safest way as I do not trust either Picture or the insurance company.
Am I in my rights to do that and have they got to accept this arrangement?0 -

Does this mean that the insurance company have to pay me the money back direct if I cancel the PPI
Another question, As I have been in arrears with Picture in the past, they informed me some time ago that this would effect my NCB and due to my arrears I would not be eligible. Is this still the case
If it is I may as well cancel the policy. If not then I may as well keep it and get the NCB next year. Any help
From what I have read beaniebabe, this is the case regarding NCB. So if you have been in arrears and the rebate is worth more to you, you could be better cancelling. I would ring Picture and see what they say, but don't agree to anything until you have thought it through.
Lians telepcall call to them was interesting to say the least. Beaniebabe, I am not 100% about the rebate, but the way I see it, if the FSCS have included it in your calculation, and told the Insurer how much to pay, I would have thought this is your right to do as you please with itdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0
